Account Specialist

CoughDrop is looking for an account specialist to support the growth and development of schools and organizations that leverage CoughDrop for their assistive technology strategy. We’re a new company that’s already causing a stir in the assistive technology space because, frankly, there’s hasn’t been enough done to enable and empower communicators with complex needs. Every individual voice should be heard and we’re working hard to build technology that supports struggling communicators. We’re located in Utah and are open to remote employees.

The position would be involved in customer acquisition and ongoing support. Many of our customers are schools or organizations who support people with a variety of complex communication needs, and this position will be responsible to navigate those organizations and ensure the right people have the right information and resources so that nothing gets in the way of supporting those people who can benefit from a tool like CoughDrop.

Job Expectations

  • Coordinate with organizations to ensure they receive proper onboarding and ongoing training on the product.
  • Collect feedback from customers and collaborate with product team to improve product quality and reception.
  • Collaborate with sales department to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Review organizational and statewide contracts and agreements.
  • Work with organizational accounting departments to ensure timely payment.
  • Distribute and follow up on purchase orders for large-scale clients.
  • Collaborate with sales department to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and review training and marketing materials to help teams understand product value.
  • Not be intimidated by long lists of diverse responsibilities.

  • Customer success management

Required Skills

  • Listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-energy environment with shifting priorities and limited direction.
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks and projects.
  • Experience spelling words like “Internet”, “cloud”, “mobile”, etc.
